Those who are familiar with cupuaçu might know about the benefits of its pulp. What one could not know is that even the fruit's seed may be extremely useful and we're not talking only about food or cosmetics. At UnB's Medications, Food and Cosmetics Lab, Master of Sciences student Geisa Barbalho discovered the medical potential of cupuaçu seed extract in the treatment of skin burns.
